When you LEVEL UP you can’t always stay in the same place.

Don’t get too comfortable.

With the many life changes I’ve had recently with my job comes other life changes. My husband and I built the house we currently live in, and we just moved in a year ago February (2024). This is seriously my dream house with the wrap around porch, a pool, the whole upstairs is a play area including a theatre room, built in beds for the grandkids, 4×12 garden boxes outside, mature fruit trees, etc… We planned on retiring in this home, and enjoying every minute with the kids, grandkids, and extended family, doing the many activities we have available here (pool table, foosball, air hockey, ball tent, ping pong, giant Jenga, big Twister rug, popcorn cart, etc…).

Well-many times with job changes comes moving. So, as of 2 months ago we listed our home for sale, and bought a lot on a lake, that is about 3 1/2 hours away from where we currently live. This is so we can be closer to our manufacturer that packages our products, and be close to the main offices. The con here is that we will be building another home again! This time we will probably have to live in a camper trailer on the lot while we build the house. Wish us luck! LOL The pro is that we will be closer to our children and grandchildren. They will be about 20 minutes away instead of 3 plus hours. Another con is they won’t have the “play house” to come visit anymore, which they are sad about. But then the pro with that is that we will get to see them MORE because we are closer.

Life is all about perspective. Your perspective is the way you see something. Some days I am excited about all of these changes, and some days I get really stressed. I also know that a lot of this has to do with my attitude. So, I’m going to work on both!
